What Happened Last Weekend

Ten of us ladies - friends, a sister, a mother, and an aunt,
A cabin in the woods plus a guest cabin beside,
A birthday celebration, two cakes, and multiple games,
Snow, fire, movies, laughter and a whole lot of fun.

Externally, it was a weekend of unabashed fun.
Internally, it was a shift that was greatly needed.
