Here To Stay

I really hope the green is here to stay.
I don't know how much more winter I could take.

There Are Some You Will Not Like

Sometimes there are people you just will not like.
And that is okay.

The one at church is aggressive, showy, and demanding.
My brother first saw her when she was interrupting a conversation.
She has been making her way around people in the church,
Catching up on the gossip and trying to get "in".

I first met her at the church garage sale a couple years ago.
She came at the end and stayed as we were closing up.
She zoned in an a Hispanic family and got way too personal information out of them.
She tried to "help" clean up something that she was not a part of and eventually told to "go home" (nicely).

Fast forward to this year.
So I've skipped church a lot,
And when I come back,
Who do I see but this person.

Needless to say, I do not like her.
I never liked her.
Her way of getting information creeped me out,
And there is just something about her I instinctively don't like.

And I think she knows it,
Even as she introduced herself to me this morning.
I do not take kindly to gossips,
And I will be watching her.

Girl Time is Important

Today I took a much needed break and hung out with my BFF.
Got some shopping done and saw the movie Divergent.
The book is better but the time was well spent.
Can't wait for more days of this to come!

Not Just for Two-Year-Olds

Tantrums aren't just for two-year-olds.
True, they aren't seemly on adults,
But sometimes you just gotta release that emotion,
Preferably in a room by yourself.

In short I hate, hate, hate
Religious organizations.
And today they made me cry and scream,
Even as I have a cold.

It Happened at the Library

It happened at the library,
Where she was unhappily led.
There in the isle was a book with a rose,
And a surprise sighting of a boy without shoes.
And when she hugged him
I didn't think she would let go.

Happy Engagement to my sister and her boyfriend!

I Love Those Days

Where it is just good.
Not necessarily without work,
But smooth in execution,
And fast enough in time.

Today was one of them,
And yesterday wasn't bad.

This Aid Business

This aid business plenty wears me out.
I love being in the classroom,
But boy, does he wear me out!
